"Has anyone got my scissors!?"

Well we have had a lot of fun at the WedgeWelly bootcamp this week! So much so, that my sides are hurting from laughing! That, n the fact that I was severely crushed at the Kings of Leon gig in Nottingham last week! Not complaining though, I got to experience first-hand from the front row, a riveting Charmer guitar solo from the man himself...oh if you could have seen it (for those of you that did, I think you know what I am talking about ;)). 2 hours of pure pleasure and crushage...talk about sweet n sour! If it wasn’t for the blonde who had just had a perm, choking me to death, I think it would have been more sweeter then sour! Would do it all again if I had to though (and Sarah has done it twice since then!) bless her, she does get excited. We have now moved into the category of HARDCORE and we have earned every bit of it!
Being this bruised and battered from the gig, didn’t come in very handy when 1,000 pairs of wellys arrived on our doorstep at 7am on Thursday!! WHY!? Why do bad things happen to good people!! :) We love it really. So we got to work (in the rain might I add), off loaded them all, then immediately began to pick and pack as they were being shipped straight back out again! These babies are well in demand at the moment so if you are hoping to get any for Christmas, get them ordered quick, otherwise they will be whipped form under your nose quicker than you can say WedgeWelly baubles! Anyway, as we had hundreds of wellies to ship out before 2pm, I was allocated as being the Christmas wrapper...there I was running round in a flutter, with my scissors and paper to hand and a HUGE pile of wellies to wrap! This would have been quite a pleasurable job, if my scissors didn’t keep disappearing! I spent the whole afternoon shouting “has anyone got my scissors!!?” This turned into a WedgeWelly joke and the phrase of the day! I am going to tie them to my wrist next time MIKE!! ;)
To finish the day off nicely, we had the traditionally fish n chips (Mark is the office skive so he went for these and drinks throughout the day every 10 minutes!) :) just kidding babes, you did a good job. We are feeling very satisfied that all the wellies have now gone to their relevant homes and will hopefully be enjoyed very soon by their new owners! MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Roll on the next delivery in a few weeks :/
